About Lynden Transport: Trucking freight to Alaska since 1954
Lynden is a family of transportation and logistics companies built around a common goal – to develop long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with our clients. While most Lynden companies call Alaska and the Pacific Northwest home, the reach of our services extends around the globe.
Lynden Transport was the first of the Lynden companies, founded by Hank Jansen in 1947. In 1954, Lynden Transport pioneered trucking freight to Alaska over the Alcan Highway. Before Lynden drivers braved this treacherous route, air and ocean delivery was often the only option for Alaska residents. Lynden has now grown from delivering freight to Alaska to 17 companies serving the world via land, sea and air. More than 60 years later, Lynden Transport is still the trusted leader for trucking to Alaska. Its network of service centers and equipment fleet is the largest in Alaska and its service to, from and within the state is unrivaled.
